awhile back, i found a fantastic tutorial for something called a bapron (baby apron). it's been one of my most favorite baby gifts to make and give.

so... yeah... it's been a long time

my life and the life of olive & everette has changed a great deal over the last year. here's a bit of the story...

olive & everette actually started back in 2008 when my friend allison and I decided to start selling hand-embroidered burp cloths and diaper cakes. read more here. our business has grown and changed over time. the last year, neither of us has had the time to put into o&e due to various things associated with our roles as wives & moms.

allison has decided not to continue in the partnership, as she doesn't have the time to put into it anymore. however, i feel like i do have the time to put into it now, and will be continuing to run olive & everette by myself!

i have to take a moment to publicly say a huge thank you to allison. she was the one who, in the very beginning, was so encouraging and positive about my work. i would not be the artist that i am today if we had not started olive & everette. allison and i continue to be close friends. i cherish our memories in doing o&e together. we have grown closer because of it. allison, i love you friend!!

i now have a working home studio. yay!! tons of ideas are swirling in my head and i will be developing some new projects in the days and months ahead. please stay tuned, as some exciting things will be coming to this blog!!
